For Those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness

By Hall V. Worthington

This writing is dedicated to those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the fruit of which is peace — quietness and confident trust forever; to those poor in spirit, who seek a much closer relationship with God and Christ; to those pilgrims in a strange land, who know there has to be something more; to those who mourn under the burden of sin and want to be truly clean in thought, word, and deed; to those who long to serve the Lord, according to his unmistakeable direction and will; to those who heeded Him and heard His call; to those wayfaring men and women who have been searching for their Beloved — turn in here. We proclaim the Holy Way to find the water so you never thirst again — to find Bread from heaven — to find fullness and completeness in Christ — to hear, to see and know your Beloved — Christ in you, the hope of glory.

To attain the available fullness, one needs to know, and then believe what is possible. The writings of George Fox testify to thousands of men and women who became one with Christ and God and exhibited their moral ethnicity, and how by grace this joy is available to all who seize the true hope: purity through the inward cross of self-denial, the power of God. And after purity, to enter paradise, the Kingdom of God within and around us; our consciousness and sight being translated to the spiritual dimension, to live in union with Christ and God in their presence, while walking on earth by the light of God, as children of the light. For God is light and nearby in our hearts to hear and obey; in him we live and move and have our being.

From the Word of the Lord within: "These writings show the true character of the church of Christ as well as the way out of darkness to light. Within these writings, you may attain the way to salvation and disprove others, while discovering the hidden depths of the gospel that Jesus came to deliver."

Note: These writings only refer to the early Quakers. Many of today's Quaker sects don't require a belief in Christ or even God.

This is repent to enter paradise on earth — good news, not bad news. For God is good and wishes us to be with Him as a partaker of the divine nature. But to be in his presence, we must become pure through death of our sinful nature on the Missing Cross to Purity — the inward cross of self-denial that leads to purity — missing from, and forgotten by, Christianity today. The cross is to man's will and man's carnal mind, which must be denied, so that we do God's will instead, according to His orders. These writings show the way to purity and union through the inward cross of self-denial, which accesses the power of God.
If any man desires to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23
He who does not take his cross, and follow after me, is not worthy of me. Mat 10:38
You follow Jesus by listening to His spoken words in your heart, hearing Him, and obeying Him. Luke 6:46-48 How else are you going to follow Jesus? You can't follow him reading the Bible. He can only lead you with commands tailored to your individual circumstances. To be led by him, you must listen in humble silence, then you must wait to hear Him, then you must obey Him. We grow by hearing and obeying his commands tailored to us. Jesus tells us six times that we must pick up our cross and follow him. Self-denial with obedience to the Lord's voice is the cross. Until you can hear and obey him, you must do your best to obey the moral core of the law that is on every man's heart: don't steal, don't lie, don't covet, don't commit adultery, forgive, do for others as you would have them do for you, etc. Incline your ear, and come to me. Hear [and obey], and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies promised to David. Isa 55:3, Luke 6:46-49. Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Proverbs 8:34, Luke 11:28.

The Jews had the scriptures, but did not have the word; so they failed to recognize Jesus because they were not listening to God's voice. Jesus told them: He who is of God, hears God's words. You cannot hear his words because you are not of God. John 8:47. The Jews heard the scriptures read frequently, but Jesus just told them they did not hear God's words.
I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you. John 8:37.
You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form...you do not have his word abiding in you, John 5:37-38.
Clearly the Jews made the colossal mistake of just studying scriptures instead of listening to and obeying the Voice of the Lord, Jesus, who is the Word of God, in your heart to hear and obey; now Christendom, making the same colossal mistake, has lost the true hope and the way to God.

A great darkness has perverted salvation to be instant, supposedly actuated by various forms of heathenish ritual, leaving us captive to our sinful natures; confusing the Kingdom of God, within you and around you, which does not come with outward signs to be observed, to be an after-death-only heaven; and then again confusing the return of Christ with his Kingdom to individuals purified from their sinful natures, to be a future one-time return of Christ to the whole world. This writing's purpose is to unravel the knot of lies blanketing Christianity and scripturally correct the confusion, in hope of inspiring you to seek the available union with Christ and God in the Kingdom while on earth, which comes to individual persons by repentance to purity.

There are those in Christendom who are content to find the minimum requirements to escape Hell; for them there is the broad, easy way that seems right to a man, but ends in destruction. Then there are those in Christendom, seeking the narrow way that few will find, who are ready to give their entire life's energy and direction to please God to the maximum possible; to those this teaching is directed. From the Word of the Lord within: "This is the day of your visitation, regarding the business of obedience feared and repentance required."
When he appears, we shall be like him, for we will see him as he is. And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3
For we are saved by hope. Rom 8:24
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Mat 5:8 (If you die without a pure heart, you will be banned from heaven.)
For of this you can be sure, that no sexually immoral, or impure, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Ephesians 5:5-6
Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, who stand forth without repentance! From the Word of the Lord within, 10/25/06
Repent or Perish. Luke 13:3
The soul who sins shall die. Eze 18:4
Get a new heart and spirit. Eze18:31
Turn from your evil ways and live. 2 King 17:13
Your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with hell will not stand. Isa 28:18
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; so that everyone may receive what is due him, according to what he has done in the body, whether it is good or bad. 2 Cor 5:10
For God has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness. 1 Thes 4:7
Without holiness, no one will see the Lord. Heb 12:14
As he who has called you is holy, so you be holy in all manner of conduct. 1 Pet 1:15 (holy, like Jesus is holy, with all your words and deeds according to God's direction.)
Do not allow sin to reign as king in your mortal body, that you would yield to its desires and serve its lusts and evil passions. Rom 6:12
God does not hear sinners, John 9:31. (Most who claim to be Christians would have a Christ who excuses them to live as they please; a fake pearl of zero price.)
Those who are living the life of the flesh cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. Rom 8:8. (The few Christians committed to truth would have the Christ to change them to live pleasing to God, whatever the price.)
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh [the sinful nature] with its passions and desires [lusts and affections]. Gal 5:24
The false gospel of grace says Jesus came to set you free from the guilt of sin, lulling you to have no fear of God's disapproval and to remain in your sinful nature until death, thereby missing any chance to inherit the Kingdom of God. To suppose that Jesus erases guilt for continuing to sin, changes grace (God's love) into a license for immorality and makes the blood of Jesus an unholy promotion of sin. The true gospel says Jesus came to set you free from sin, by destroying the sinful nature within you, through obedient repentance and change by grace, through the missing cross, the power of God, which produces purity and union with Christ and God, in the Kingdom of Heaven; walking by his light in his perfect will, while on earth, and then forever. Read John 14 and John 17 to understand the true promises of Jesus, the real hope that can release the power of God to purify your heart and soul. From the Word of the Lord within: "People have not heard of the grace of God, which separates from sin."

Without the power of God working in you, there is no victory, there is no overcoming. There are three sources to the power of God being released to purify you:
  1. power in the true hope and gospel,
  2. power in the inward cross of self denial, and
  3. the power in the name of Jesus.
This power of God works in us and keeps us through faith to salvation, which is to be delivered from sin. Christendom is without the cross of Christ, and without the true hope; and so without the power of God, left only as a form (hollow shell) of the original Christianity, without the new life of the new creature, without holiness, wallowing in sin, boasting of their imperfection, perishing, whose end is destruction. For without the power of God released to change a man, his heart remains full of sin and unacceptable to God, whatever his lips may say in the form of worship. The power of God, the inward cross of self-denial, begins by waiting on the Lord. The true hope is detailed in John 14 and John 17. This writing is to show you how to carry the inward cross of self-denial with obedience to his spoken and heard words, with the name of Jesus in mind: the combination of all, to access the changing, infinite power of God to work in you, cleansing you, purifying you, delivering you from all sin, and bringing you into union with God into his kingdom, while on earth and then forever. From the Word of the Lord within: "Hope releases the power of God to change you. There is no hope for anyone outside the power of God."

Long before Jesus died on the cross, he told us we must take up our cross daily, deny ourselves, and lose our life to save it. Then he died on the cross in obedience to the Father, which he himself wished to avoid in some way, but submitted to a horrible death as the example of obedience that we must follow. If we fail to daily take up our inward cross of self-denial, we are showing contempt for the death and blood of Christ. Only by repentance through the cross of loving obedience to God's commands, do we experience salvation, which is to be delivered and freed from the slavery to sin.
Repentance and remission [release from the bondage] of sins should be preached in His name to all nations. Luke 24:47
God, having raised up his servant and Son Jesus, first sent him to you to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities [sins]. Acts 3:26
Jesus does not just forgive your past sins, he promises to bring you out of darkness to a sinless state, through repentance. Most deficit sects preach instant salvation by grace, never mentioning repentance; some deficit sects speak of repentance, but without a clue as to how to achieve it. Whatever their various heathenish rituals employed, all of the deficit sects' instant salvations are without repentance to life, leaving you still captive to sin and without salvation. Jesus tells us that few will find the narrow gate to heaven, because of false prophets [with a false salvation], so that many who claim to be Christians, even having done miracles in His name, will be rejected, because they still sinned; and then he tells us the formula for success: listen to his words and do them [practice, obey] — [come, listen, hear, and obey]. Jesus said he will deny all who continue to disobey him (sin), even those who claim to be saved Christians.
Christ is holy, harmless, undefiled, and separate from sinners. Heb 7:26
Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? Luke 6:46
Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but [only] he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Mat 7:21-23
Whoever commits sin practices lawlessness; for sin is lawlessness. 1 John 3:4
The Son of Man will send forth his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice sin [or lawlessness]; and will cast them into a furnace of fire, where there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. ..Let him who has ears be listening, and let him contemplate, discern, and understand by hearing. Mat 13:41-43
Then Jesus answered them, 'Truly, Truly I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.' John 8:34
If you still sin, you are slave to sin, and Jesus cannot be your Lord. Jesus said himself, you cannot serve two masters! Luke 16:13 As Paul said, "if any man preaches any gospel to you other than what you have received, let him be accursed;" specifically a different gospel and different Jesus from what Paul preached. Per Acts, Paul was sent to open their eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and release from sin's slavery, and an inheritance among those who are sanctified and purified by faith in me. Acts 26:17-18.

Different Jesus, different gospel? How?
  • One Jesus excuses a life of sin in a believer — the other Jesus says to believers: Why do you call me Lord, and not do what I tell you. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity [wrongdoers, still sinning]! Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the kingdom of heaven.
  • One Jesus offers a free ticket to heaven after you die in your sins — the other Jesus says the Kingdom of heaven is within you, and which must be entered while still on earth so you can avoid being banished in the next life.
  • One Jesus leaves you miserable in your sins the rest of your life — the other Jesus destroys the sin that is in you, freeing you totally.
  • One Jesus excuses all past, present, and future sins — the other Jesus forgives but then says: Sin no more! and Repent or perish!
  • One Jesus requires no works — the other Jesus requires perfect works.
  • One Jesus judges people on whether they believe or not — the other Jesus judges people on their works and words.
  • One Jesus is remote in heaven who doesn't speak to you or teach you — the other Jesus dwells in your heart to teach you, command you, cleanse you, purify you, make you holy, love you, unite with you, glorify you.
  • One Jesus saves anyone who says the sinner's prayer, gets wet, and eats bread/grape juice — the other Jesus is the author and perfecter of salvation to all those who listen to him and obey him.
  • One Jesus saves instantly with little or no effort on your part — the other Jesus says strive to enter the narrow gate that leads to life (salvation) that few will find and many will try to enter but be unable.
  • One Jesus requires no cross to be carried by his followers — the other Jesus says you must deny yourself and pick up your cross daily to follow him.
  • One Jesus accepts you just the way you are — the other Jesus says you must lose your life, to save your life.
  • One Jesus requires you to give up nothing — the other Jesus requires you to forsake everything.
  • One Jesus says do nothing, I did it all — the other Jesus says make every effort to add to your faith and to enter the rest.
  • One Jesus encourages sin by freeing you from guilt — the other Jesus delivers and frees you from sin, making you fit for union and fellowship with Him and the Father in heaven.
  • One gospel forces you to die before you discover if your salvation was true or if you were lied to, (when it's too late to remedy) — the other gospel lets you hear God speak to you, frees you from sin, (ample proof along the way), and then lets you see Jesus, bringing your salvation as he is resurrected in you, and as you are translated into the Kingdom while alive on earth.
  • One gospel presumes you are favored by God — the other gospel results in God demonstrating his favor regularly.
  • One gospel asks for your money — the other gospel forbids preachers to solicit money, and sudden disaster overcomes any who do.
Isaiah wrote: "Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters, and he who has no money, come, buy and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? And your hard-earned money for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to me. Hear [and obey], and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies promised to David." Isaiah 55:1-3

So which of the two Jesus are you depending on? Not that there are only two Jesus; there is a different Jesus for each sect, estimated at 41,000 and increasing. Each sect takes a subset of the scriptures and creates their own image of God and Jesus and then worships it, all based on their collective opinion as to which scriptures are invalid and which ones they think give them eternal life. But all the scriptures are valid; and if you have to ignore any that conflict with your understanding, you don't really understand the ones you think you do. Even former choir boy, Adolph Hitler, claimed to be saved because he believed. Answer this question: which Jesus is likely to be Satan imitating Jesus; he who excuses guilt-free sin and promises heaven to those still sinning, or he who insists everyone sin no more, repent or perish, — deny yourself, carry your cross daily, forsake everything, and lose your life to save it?

Christians today are like the Jews, who had the scriptures and believed Moses, but failed to hear, see, and obey what he commanded. Do you believe Jesus enough to be obedient to his commands and advice? Faith comes by hearing the word, which is in your heart to be obeyed; faith is hearing Jesus, who is the Word of God, speak from within, and to believe it is the Lord speaking to you; this is to believe in Jesus. By hearing and obeying Him, Jesus will destroy even your desire to sin. John tells us who really believes that Jesus is the Son of God: he who has overcome the world, by fighting the good fight of faith, to victory over sin.

The Sabbath is a mere shadow of the Christian's rest, but Christendom doesn't have a clue as to what the rest is. Yet the rest is a major part of what Jesus promised:
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and [then] you will find rest for your souls. Mat 11:28-29.
This is the rest with which you cause the weary to rest, and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. Isa 28:12.
The book of Hebrews severely warns us against failing to enter the rest:
Since a promise is left us of entering into his rest still stands, let us fear, lest any of you should seem to come short of it. Heb 4:1.
This is a serious warning to all who name themselves Christians: to avoid losing your soul and being banned from heaven, as the Jews were killed in the desert and banned from entering the promise land because of unbelief in God's promises, you must zealously labor in faith to attain the promised rest of the spiritual Sabbath, which is union with God and entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven, within you and around you. We are raised together with Christ to sit in the heavens in Christ, as a new creature, to sit down at rest, to enter the rest from fighting our enemies, like Israel entered the rest from fighting and purging their land of the surrounding heathen peoples; only the Christian rest is to rest from fighting spiritual enemies within themselves: lust, rage, pride, selfishness, envy, greed, covetousness, jealousy, lying, cheating, stealing, sexual immorality, profane language, and evil thoughts, etc. We cease and rest from our own thoughts and dead works, to live according to God's supplied thoughts, words, and prompted works. Salvation is to be delivered from sin and be protected from evil, sanctified from our enemies of sin. To be freed from sin, you must believe and hope in God's promise to set the captives free, to become free of sin; otherwise, you too will perish in the spiritual wilderness without ever entering the promise land — heaven. Don't be like the Jews who said they could not conquer the giants and refused to cross the Jordan to do battle, even with God fighting for them; don't say sin can't be conquered, even with God's promised mighty help; don't say who can war with the beast? Because victory over sin, our enemies within our heart, is the promised salvation. Sin, the world, and the devil must and can be overcome. Therefore let us diligently labor with every effort to enter into that rest, lest any man fall from the same kind of unbelief [and resulting disobedience] Heb 4:11. You cease from your own works to enter the rest simultaneously when you are delivered from your enemies, when you are freed from sin, when your salvation is brought to you by Jesus, when you see and witness salvation, the end of grace. The Christian's rest is glorious. Isa 11:10
Zacharias prophesied about Jesus, the Savior, saying: "That he would grant to us, that being delivered out of the hand of our enemies we might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life." Luke 1:74-5
By which exceedingly great and precious promises are given to us, that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Corruption does not inherit incorruption. 2 Peter 1:4, 1 Cor 15:50
But Christendom is at ease, comfortable in their sins, with no fear of God: Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, Amos 6:1; Arise and depart, for this is not the rest. Because it is defiled, it shall destroy you, even with a grievous destruction. Mic 2:10. Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. 1 Cor 15:34.

In 1 John 5, John carefully defines what are the qualifying experiences of a believer who is born of God:
  1. a believer born of God keeps the commands of God, and they are not a burden; verses 2,3
  2. the believer born of God has overcome the world by crucifying his sinful nature, (the forbidden cravings, the passionate desires, and the lusts of it), verses 4,5
  3. the believer born of God has seen in his heart by the light that manifests all things the three witnesses in the earth: verse 8; first, the spirit that bears witness in the earth, which mortifies them, which circumcises their hearts of all sin, and which leads them into all truth; second, they come to know the water that is a witness in the earth; by which they are washed, their minds, their souls, their spirits, and in their bodies, with this pure water; and the third witness is his blood, which blood of Jesus is sprinkled in their hearts and consciences; by which blood they are sanctified, and they are cleansed from all their dead works, to serve the living God.
  4. the believer born of God has the eternal life of God in him, which is to be restored to the spiritual image of God in true righteousness and holiness. verse 12
  5. the believer born of God does not sin and cannot sin being protected by his Father from falling to any temptation. verse 18
  6. Jesus lives in and controls the believer. The believer is in Christ. The believer lives in union with Christ and the Father. verse 20
Those who say they are born-again Christians still living in the fleshly lusts and pleasures of the world, and so still slaves to sin, are maligning the truth and create confusion; from the Word of the Lord within: "By their evident display of sin, Christians cause my name to be blasphemed among the people."

He who has the Son has life [the life of God directing him]; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life, 1 John 5:12. Because of Adam's fall, we all are dead to the life of God, Gen 2:17,3:24, having been cut off from eating from the tree of life. The life this references is the life of God, which is received when you are freed from all sin, translated into the Kingdom of Heaven, and enter union with God and Christ. To have the life, is to have Christ, who is the life; and is to be restored to the spiritual image of God in true righteousness and holiness. To have the life is to be in the kingdom eating from the tree of life again. From the Word of the Lord within: "the new life is as radically different as a man who has lived underground his whole life, suddenly coming above ground to see the sun, the sky, the plants, the animals, the wind, the stars."

Just believing is not salvation, as Paul eleven times emphasizes addressing believers in the churches:
  • Now is our salvation nearer than when we first believed. Rom 13:11
  • Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Phil 2:12
  • For we are saved by hope; but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he has already seen? But if we hope for that we do not yet see, then we wait for it [salvation] with patient endurance. Rom 8:24-25.
  • But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. 1 Thes 5:8
  • For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Cor 1:18. ( While in the inward cross of self-denial, you will see the sin slowly disappear from your life until you are free of sin.)
  • Godly sorrow produces repentance that leads to salvation. 2 Cor 7:10
  • Do not grieve the holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed unto the day of redemption. Eph 4:30 (Paul is speaking to believers in the church who have not yet been redeemed, which is salvation.)
  • For we are the sweet aroma of Christ unto God, to those who are being saved. 2 Cor 2:15
  • We are made partakers of Christ if we hold firm the beginning of our confidence to the end. Heb 3:14
  • For you need endurance in order to do God’s will, so that after you may receive the promise. Heb 10:36
  • We desire that every one of you show the same diligence in realizing the full assurance of hope to the end. So that you are not slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Heb 6:11-12
And Peter echoes the same message that salvation is not just believing or faith, rather salvation is the end of faith's obedient journey, and requires growth:
  • Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a time, if necessary, you may have to suffer griefs through many trials, So that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tried with fire, might result in praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him; though you do not see him now, but believe in him, you rejoice with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, Receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Pet 1:5-9.
  • As newborn babies, desire the sincere milk of the word, so that you may grow up to salvation, 1 Pet 2:2
Simon the magician believed and was baptized. He tried to buy the power of laying on of hands. Acts 8:13-23. Peter said to him, "Therefore repent of your wickedness, and pray to God that perhaps you may be forgiven for your heart's thoughts. For I perceive that you are in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity."Acts 8:22-23. Is it not obvious that Simon had not been "saved" by believing and baptism?

Ananias and his wife Sapphira were members of the Church in Jerusalem. Great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them who needed anything; for many who possessed lands or houses, sold them and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, to lay them down at the apostles' feet; and then distribution was made to every man according to his need... Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, and kept back part of the price [pretending they were donating the entire amount. Both Anianias and Sapphira were immediately slain by the Holy Spirit; in effect they were lying to God]. Their death was an example that brought great fear on all the church. Acts 4:33-35, 5:1-11. Now few would argue that these believers with great grace on them had been "saved" if they were slain by the Holy Spirit for lying.

Jesus told five out of seven churches of believers in Revelation that they were lost, on the way to destruction. The Smyrna believers were about to enter tribulation, whom he encouraged. Only the church of Philadelphia was doing well because they had kept [obeyed] his word [from within their hearts] with patient endurance. Notice again! Jesus said that five out seven Christian churches of believers were on their way to Hell. Massive error had already taken hold 2000 years ago, until today the false church is pervasive with grace supposedly being a license to continue to sin.

One who thinks Christ's blood allows him to continue in his sins, without the fury of God coming down on him, has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has acted with spite [contempt] to the Spirit of grace! Heb 10:29. The false church makes his blood count as an excuse for evil, making his blood an unholy thing, and so tramples on Jesus and shows contempt for grace — the real grace.

Salvation is to be delivered from sin, and it occurs when you experience the grace of God (Christ) bring it to you, when Christ destroys the selfish spirit in you by the spirit in his mouth and by the brightness of his coming, when he crushes the head of Satan under your feet, Rom 16:20. To believe is to obey; if you are not obedient, your belief is only the hypocrites' lip service. Obedience leads to receiving the Holy Spirit. Obedience leads to righteousness. Obedience leads to salvation.

Christendom's false, instant salvation from an altar call and/or water baptism is a colossal lie to fool you. Read the fine print of God's contract: the warnings of exclusion, the requirements, and qualifying conditions. By grace through inward faith, the Spirit teaches us to deny ungodliness and lusts, and how to live righteously and godly in this world. To access grace, one must wait on God, listen, watch, and obey what you hear. As we obey, grace then removes the sins from our heart. Only those who persistently and patiently wait on Him, as they heed and obey Him, see Jesus appear to bring salvation. Heb 5:9, 9:28
To those who persistently and patiently wait for him he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation. Heb 9:28
Those who are persistently and patiently waiting on God, see Jesus appear in their hearts, and see Jesus bring their salvation, which is to be delivered (freed) from all sin. To wait on God is to persistently sit in humble silence, listen for his voice and words, watch for his revelations, hear his commands, and then obey Him; only those who heed and obey Him receive eternal salvation. Heb 5:9. But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it [salvation] with patient endurance, Rom 8:25; we wait for salvation.
Being made perfect, he [Jesus] became the author and source of eternal salvation to all those who heed and obey him. Heb 5:9
Salvation is to be delivered (freed) from all sin, even the desires, through persistent obedience to the Spirit that mortifies the selfish human spirit on the inward cross of self-denial. You must persistently and patiently wait for Him in humble silence to hear his commands, as you listen and watch; then heed and obey Him.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. Dan 12:10.
Christendom does not even believe purity is possible; they do not understand and therefore continue to sin [do wickedly].

Christendom denies the cross is necessary, and so Christendom is perishing for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing; ..their end is destruction, their God is the belly [appetites, lusts], and whose glory is their shame, and they think on earthly things. 1 Cor 1:18, Phil 3:18-19. Jesus expelled Satan from heaven because of his sin.

Jesus expelled Adam and Eve from paradise because of their sin. Jesus has not changed and does not change; he did not allow sin or sinners in heaven then, and he will not allow sin or sinners in heaven now, or in the future. Sin has to go before you can enter heaven; nothing that is unclean or defiles will enter heaven.
The acts of the sinful nature include adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lack of restraint, covetousness [which is idolatry], sorcery, hatred, arguments, jealousies, rage, selfishness, divisiveness, envies, murders, drunkenness, revelries [partying], and the like; ...those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal 5:19-21
All with sexual immorality, pride, hatred, lying, envy, wanting more, partying, foolishness..etc., will be banned from heaven.
Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor oppressive cheaters; these will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 6:9-10.
They will be banned from heaven. For of this you can be sure, that no sexually immoral, or impure, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Eph 5:5-6
Anyone who is impure, immoral, or covetous will be banned from heaven. Regarding the above warning (Eph 5:5-6), the Word of the Lord within said: "This is the void of the earth, made absolutely clear." Jesus said, .. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lack of restraint , an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within a man and defile him . Mark 7:21-23

Notice, until your heart has been cleansed, you are defiled — a ravenous beast who serves yourself, rather than others. The Lord's prayer of: deliver us from evil, means to be delivered or freed from the evil in your heart, which is salvation.
Jesus said: whoever is angry with his brother will be subjected to judgment, Mat 5:22
John said: Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, John 3:15
Jesus said, I say to you that whoever looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Mat 5:28; and in the very next verse Jesus tells us how consequential such lustful looks are: If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your body parts should perish, rather than your whole body should be cast into hell. Mat 5:29.
So, just restraining your desires is not enough — the desires have to be crucified — destroyed — removed — purged. But, these sins do not make you unfit for God's help to eliminate them from your heart.
I beseech you therefore brothers, by the mercies of god, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service and worship. Rom 12:1
For if you live after the flesh [the sinful nature], you will die; but if through the Spirit you mortify [put to death] the deeds of the body, you will live. Rom 8:13
Therefore mortify [put to death] the deeds of the body that are of the earthly life: fornication, impurity, inordinate affections, evil lusts of the flesh, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Col 3:5
Strip yourselves of your former nature that controlled your conduct, which corrupts itself through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and put on the newly created nature [of Christ], which is created in God's image of true righteousness and holiness, Eph 4:22-24; to bring forth fruit to honor and glorify the Father and show that you are truly my disciples. John 15:8
Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit. Mat 12:33.
From the Word of the Lord within: "A tree that is holy is a good one."
Jesus is eager to destroy sin and the works of evil in us — if we go to him.
For this purpose the Son of God is revealed [in us], that he might destroy [in us] the works [sin] of the devil. 1 John 3:8
As Jesus told Paul: I am sending you to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, release from sin's slavery, and an inheritance among those who are sanctified and purified by faith in Me. Acts 26:17-18
Do you not know.. you are the slaves of whom you obey, whether of sin that leads to death, or of obedience that leads to righteousness? Rom 6:16,19
If you are still sinning, you are still under the power of Satan. Salvation is not to remain enslaved to passions and pleasures. Salvation is to live free from lusts and rage. He promises control of our emotions — and everlasting peace. From the Word of the Lord within, 12/14/06
Jesus was asked, What must I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus replied: keep the commandments. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness. Honor your father and your mother; and you shall love your neighbor as yourself. He listed the moral core of the law that is also on every man's heart. Then he told him he must sell his possessions, give to the poor, take up the cross, and follow him. So where is instant salvation by saying a prayer, getting wet, and eating grape juice and bread? Not only must we keep the moral core of the commandments, we must follow Jesus. How do we follow Jesus? We silently listen and obey him teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and how to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; so he will redeem us from all iniquity and purify us to become his special people, zealous for good works; good works as directed by him to his glory. There is no arguing around this; Jesus has told us that to be saved, one must keep the moral core of the commandments, take up your cross, and follow him. Jesus never said you could be saved if you say the sinners' prayer, or are baptized with water, or eat bread and drink grape juice; this is just heathenish ritual, the wide and broad way that leads to destruction.

Today's deficit sects, still captive to sin and the power of Satan, believe in a God whose favor is presumed to be granted due to their heathenish ritual and form of godliness. They deny a God of power, who can and is eager to free us from the oppression and captivity of sin, so that we can secure his promises, which require our holiness and purity. These deficit sects have defined a false gospel that promises heaven to those still sinning, and a false Jesus, who supposedly accepts sin, disobedience, and disregard of his own commands. Jesus said, he who doesn't love me will not obey my teaching. The deficit sects falsely preach a different hope, totally ignoring, totally dismissing, and failing to believe the Good News that Jesus announced he had been sent by God to proclaim:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach release to the captives [of sin], and recovery of sight to the blind, to deliver [free] those who are oppressed [in slavery to sin], Luke 4:18-19
To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison house. Isa 42:7
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; Isa 61:1-2
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you are truly free. John 8:31-32,36
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17
These deficit sects don't understand the Kingdom or how to crucify the sinful nature by repentance, necessary to be set free from sin and to enter the Kingdom. Yet that was his message, and the reason why Jesus said he was sent to the world!
I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God, ..because for this purpose I have been sent. Luke 4:43 The kingdom of God does not come with outward signs to be observed. Nor will they say, 'Look, here!' or, 'Look over there!' For behold, the kingdom of God is within you and around you. Luke 17:20-21
The time has come, and the kingdom of God is at hand [near]; repent and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15
Notice, he said, the time has come, the Kingdom is near. He is not talking about a Kingdom thousands of years later. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming with the Kingdom before they died. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying all the end times prophesies would be fulfilled before the generation of 2000 years ago died.

2000 years ago, he told us to Seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness. Mat 6:33 We are supposed to ignore the pursuit of food and clothing so that we can dedicate ourselves to seeking the Kingdom of God. 2000 years ago he told us to pray the Lord's Prayer, including pray: Your Kingdom come.

These commands make no sense if the Kingdom of God is only coming to a generation thousands of years later. But Jesus is neither guilty of cruelty, or stupid, for telling every generation for 2000 years to make this their first priority; for every generation has the opportunity to enter the Kingdom, which is in them, and does not come with outward or visible sign. He said: For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he will reward every man according to his works. (Not just a particular generation.) Some standing here shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. Mat 16:27-8, Mar 8:38,9:1, Luk 9:26-27.

Those not purified, to see Jesus' coming in them before death, see him as they die, as all peoples, all nations, all generations do. Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye will see him, and also those who pierced him; (also, the Jews 2000 years ago) and all kindreds of the earth will wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Rev 1:7. 2000 years ago, to the Jewish High Priest and the Pharisees at his trial, Jesus said.. you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven. Mark 14:62 This is not a particular generation in our time or later.

Heaven appears to our spiritual eye as in a mist or in clouds — so, his coming is on the clouds of heaven, within the hearts of purified believers — just like he ascended: he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts 1:9. Even Daniel in 538 BC saw Jesus coming on the clouds of heaven: I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Dan 7:13.

To those who persistently and patiently wait for him, He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation. Heb 9:28 To wait on Him is to persistently sit in humble silence, listen for his voice and words, watch for his revelations, hear his commands, and then obey Him. Notice he appears to bring salvation. But he doesn't bring salvation to the whole world — only to those who are persistently and patiently waiting for him. Neither is his appearance to the whole world, only to those who are waiting for him, and who love him by obeying him.

Salvation occurs when He appears within to bring salvation to those who have waited, listened, heard, and obeyed him — those who love him, and who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Pet 1:5 Peter even tells us that we can hasten the day of Christ: While waiting for and hastening the day of Christ. 2 Pet 3:12. The fact that we can hasten the day of Christ, proves that His coming is a personal experience; and we hasten His coming by spending as much time as possible waiting on God. Thus each man in his own order. 1 Cor 15:23
Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "Lord, how is it that you will show yourself to us, and not to the world?" And Jesus replied, "If a man loves me, he will keep my words [obey me, practice my teachings]; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him. [home in the heart of those who obey] This is to possess or have the Son, and he who has the Son, has the Father also, making their home in your heart. He who doesn't love me, does not keep [obey] my teachings. In that day [when he appears in you] you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. He who has my commands and obeys them, it is he who loves me; and he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and show myself to him," John 14:20-23.
So he only appears to those who have heard him speak commands to them, and have obeyed him — only to those who love him, as evidenced by those who listen to his voice and keep his commands — only to those who are obedient. I will come again, and will take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also. John 14:3

This is the return of Christ. The world does not see it. He returns with the Father. They become one with us — union. It is a personal experience. This is not His resurrection after death. He is talking about becoming one with the disciples. This is not after the disciples have died as the verse below shows.

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you will keep and protect them from evil ..Sanctify them. John 17:15-17 So, Jesus wants to keep us in the world, but to protect us from evil, while in the world — to be sanctified. Father, I desire that they also whom you have entrusted to me may be with me where I am, so they may see my glory, which you have given me — your love gift to me — for you loved me before the foundation of the world. John 17:24 If any man wants to serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there my servant will also be. John 12:26 We are physically still in the world, but our consciousness and sight translate to the Kingdom of heaven, a higher dimension. God is in this same higher dimension; in him we live and move and have our being; who is over all, in all, and through all. And there we have fellowship with the Father and the Son. So with obedience to the cross, we can enter paradise while alive on earth, to be there forever, even after the second death.

When he appears, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. Everyone with this hope purifies himself, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3 Only those who are like him, pure, will see him appear. Call on the name of the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Tim 2:22 Your souls are purified in obeying the truth, through the spirit. 1 Pet 1:22. Your heart is purified by faith. Acts 15:9

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. Dan 12:10. The deficit sects teach that you don't have to be pure, you don't have to be perfect, you don't have to be holy.

If, as they incorrectly teach, he did come back to the whole world, none of them would see him, because they are not pure. The world will no longer see me; but you will see me. John 14:19. Because if one has the hope of purity and seeing their savior, they will purify their hearts, by faith and grace, to see God appear within their hearts.

The New Testament is full of references to the second appearance of Jesus being then, not thousands of years later. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming in the clouds with the Kingdom before they died. Later Paul, Jesus in Revelation, Peter, James, and John, — all said, soon, the time is near, a little while, he stands at the door. Christendom blithely ignores this gaping incongruity between what the Bible plainly states vs. what they are taught by their blind guides. It would be a cruel hoax to be waiting on Him to appear if the past one hundred generations of believers actually had no hope of ever seeing Him.

But the second appearance, the revealing (revelation) of Christ, is in the hearts of individual believers in all generations; in those who have prepared the way for him in their hearts for the Lord to enter, be revealed, and rule as Lord. He, who has been hidden within, is revealed. As Paul said: it has pleased the Father to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him. Always bearing about in the [our] flesh the same death [of the inward cross] of the Lord Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who live are constantly progressing to death [crucifying the old man] for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus might be revealed in our mortal flesh. 2 Cor 4:10-11

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Mat 5:8. Without a pure heart, you are now, and will be, banned from heaven. He appears to the purified heart of a believer — he is seen. This is his second appearance — this time to the purified in heart. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Cor 4:6. The light shines in your heart, and Christ is revealed in your heart; you see, and have knowledge of, the glory of God. As the lightning comes out of the east, and shines to the west; so also will the coming of the Son of man be. Mat 24:27 The morning star rises in your hearts. 2 Pet 1:19. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Rev 22:16 Jesus is resurrected in us to be our true Lord. 2 Cor 4:14, Rom 8:11, Col 2:11-12,3:1, Eph 2:6 Paul said Jesus was resurrected in him: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. So, seek his face, and keep on seeking until he appears.

Until the light rises and Christ appears, you must listen, hear, and obey the word within your heart. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8 Who do you think James was writing to? He was writing to those in the churches, still captive to sin. Notice he says draw near to God. God is not found in sect meetings. God is not found in reading scriptures. You must go to him. You must wait on him — listen silently, with the humility of a sinner in need of his changing power — grace. You must listen, hear, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. James 1:21.

The Lords' voice is kind, gentle, pure, easily understood, easily accepted, peaceable, complete, morally correct, encouraging — never with even a hint of sarcasm, bitterness, or condemnation — never upbraiding — never incomplete, leaving you guessing what he wants; instead His words are full of love itself — his spirit of Love — for he is Love. He will tell you things about Himself. He will encourage you. He is kindness. He will tell or show you things about yourself; some will be things that are ugly. But since he is your friend, you know that he is showing them to you for your own good. So you listen and watch. And you don't run; you stand before the Son of Man; and you repent of what he shows you. And sometimes he gives you commands. You are hearing the Word of God, the living Word. And hopefully you will obey his commands and show him you love him by being obedient. You may not hear for days to weeks of patient daily waiting, but if you are sincere, you will eventually hear; and with obedience, you will hear with increasing frequency.

So wait, watch, listen, hear, obey....wait, watch, listen, hear, obey..... seek, listen, obey. You must endure to the end, when Christ brings salvation. You must abide in him. Now little children abide in him, that when he shall appear you may have confidence in him. 1 John 2:28 Jesus said: Not everyone who calls me Lord will enter heaven, but only those who do the will of my Father. And how do you do the will of the Father? Then there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, My Chosen One or My Beloved; listen to and yield to and obey Him!” Luk 9:35 To be purified, you must come to him, listen for him, hear him, and obey him — repetitively, over time. He [Jesus] became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him. Heb 5:9 You are purified by faith in Jesus — faith in hearing his convictions of you to be true, and faith enough to obey his commands. When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you will also appear with Him in glory. Col 3:4 The glory in which his saints appear is power; power, like the Apostles and early church had power. Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8 Other than the fruit of the Spirit, the world does not see Christ; for such a person's life is hidden in Christ Jesus. Col 3:3 This mystery .. is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col 1:27 I will dwell in them, And walk in them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people. 2 Cor 6:16 That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith..that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph 3:17-19

"The Father is in you all, Christ is in you, and the Kingdom of Heaven is in you; there, in your hearts, is where you will find them all. Know him there searching your hearts, and find him there trying your minds and hearts; incline your ears, and give ear to him there, who will render to everyone of you according to your words and works whether they are good or evil, (George Fox)." BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. Psalm 46:10.

When Christ, in union with you, controls your every thought, word, and deed — then you are part of Christ's body of believers — the bride of Christ, his church. Those who are joined with the Lord are one spirit with Him. Each member of His body acts according to the head, Christ. Christ's body cannot have each member acting independently; otherwise each foot will go according to its own will, each hand, each eye will be out of control of the head, without singleness of purpose, without unity of spirit, without Christ in control. Each part of Christ's body or church must be totally controlled by the head — just like the parts of your physical body are all controlled by your head. When you are filled with the fullness of God, then (and not until then) Christ is truly your Master, the Lord, and King in mind, word, and deed. Then and only then, you are in Christ.

The end of grace is to bring the completion of salvation, at the second appearance of Jesus Christ, but only within those who have purified themselves and who have been looking for the blessed hope of his coming. Salvation is to be witnessed by seeing Jesus bring it, and when Jesus crushes the head of Satan under your feet, Rom 16:20. Many men and women on this site, (see the left sidebar for their memoirs or journals, and there is a guide to some of best), write of experiencing salvation, including seeing their savior and having fellowship with Christ and the Father. Think about it: God would never leave our salvation subject to conjecture, some other person's opinion, reading scripture to see if you qualify, trying to guess which ritual is important, etc. God is not a god of confusion. God would make our salvation absolutely clear, without any doubt, without any reservations, with no questions left. So he has created a salvation to be experienced; which includes purity, holiness, perfection, judgment, being freed from even the desire to sin, destruction of the residual man of sin within one by the brightness of his coming, seeing their name written in the Book of Life, union with Christ and the Father, entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven, seeing the Glory of God, themselves also appearing in glory, fellowship with past saints made perfect, and fellowship with the Father and Christ — an unmistakable salvation, clearly seen, clearly felt, clearly understood.

But the 41,000 sects of Christendom have only a presumed salvation — not the true clearly seen, clearly felt, clearly understood salvation. A presumed salvation can result from anything imaginable because their assumptions are only provable after death; thus there are 41,000 different sects in Christendom, each with unproven assumptions.

From the first chapter of The Journal of George Fox, the following is part of George Fox's wonderfully inspiring, unparalleled Christian testimony of being translated into paradise, the Kingdom of God :
Now I came up in spirit, through the flaming sword, into the paradise of God. All things were new, and all the creation gave another smell unto me than before, beyond what words can utter. I knew nothing but pureness, innocence, and righteousness, being renewed up into the image of God by Christ Jesus; so that I came up to the state of Adam, which he was in before he fell. The creation was open to me; and it was showed me how all things had their names given them, according to their nature and virtue. I was at a stand in my mind, whether I should practice medicine for the good of mankind, seeing the nature and virtues of the creatures were so opened to me by the Lord. But I was immediately taken up in spirit, to see into another or more steadfast state than Adam's in innocence, even into a state in Christ Jesus, that should never fall. And the Lord showed me, that such as were faithful to him, in the power and light of Christ, should come up into that state in which Adam was before he fell; in which the admirable works of the creation, and the virtues of that may be known, through the openings of that divine word of wisdom and power by which they were made. Great things did the Lord lead me into, and wonderful depths were opened unto me, beyond what can by words be declared; but as people come into subjection to the spirit of God, and grow up in the image and power of the Almighty, they may receive the word of wisdom that opens all things, and come to know the hidden unity in the Eternal Being.
Moreover, the Lord God let me see, when I was brought up into his image in righteousness and holiness, and into the state of the paradise of God how Adam was made a living soul; and also to the stature of Christ, the mystery that had been hid from ages and generations: which things are hard to be uttered, and cannot be borne by many. For of all the sects in Christendom (so called) that I discussed with, I found none that could bear to be told that anyone could spiritually grow to Adam's perfection, (that is into that image of God, and righteousness and holiness that Adam was in before he fell), to be clean, pure, and without sin as he was. Therefore, how would they be able to bear being told that any should spiritually grow up to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, Eph 4:13; when it threatens them to hear that any shall come, while upon earth, into the same power and spirit that the prophets and apostles were in? Though it is an absolute truth, that none can understand the Apostle’s writings correctly without the same spirit by which they were written.
The Lord God opened to me by his invisible power, how that "every man was enlightened by the divine light of Christ." I saw it shine through all, and that they that believed in it came out of condemnation to the light of life, and became the children of it; but they that hated it and did not believe in it, were condemned by it, though they made a profession of Christ. This I saw in the pure openings of the light without the help of any man; neither did I then know where to find it in the scriptures; though afterwards, searching the scriptures, I found it. For I saw in that light and spirit which was before the scriptures were given forth, and which led the holy men of God to give them forth, that all must come to that spirit, if they would know God or Christ, or the scriptures correctly, which they that gave them forth were led and taught by.
Further from George Fox's Journal: written in 1656.
While I was in prison here, the Baptists and fifth-monarchy-men prophesied, that this year Christ would come, and reign upon earth a thousand years. And they looked upon this reign to be outward: when he had come inwardly in the hearts of his people, to reign and rule; these "believers" would not receive him in their hearts. So they failed in their prophecy and expectation, and did not have the possession of him. But Christ has come, and does dwell and reign in the hearts of his people. Thousands, at the door of whose hearts he has been knocking, have opened to him; and he has come in, and does sup with them, and they with him; the heavenly supper with the heavenly and spiritual man. So many of these Baptists and monarchy-people became the greatest enemies to the followers of Christ, but he reigns in the hearts of his saints over all their envy.
And from the writings of another kingdom-dwelling early Quaker, William Dewsbury: (written in 1655)
In that day and hour of temptation, I witnessed those Scriptures fulfilled in me of Paul's condition, in which he complained as I then did. I found law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, so that when I would do good, evil was present with me; the sense of which caused me to cry, "Oh wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" As I was crying to the Lord, to free me from the burden I groaned under; the word of the Lord came to me, saying, "My grace is sufficient for you, I will deliver you." And by the power of this word, I was armed with patience to wait in his counsel; groaning under the body of sin in the day and hour of temptation, until it pleased the Lord to manifest his power to free me, which was in the year 1651.
Thus through the righteous law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, I was and am made free from the body of sin and death; and through these great tribulations, my garments are washed and made white in the blood of the Lamb, who has led me into the new Jerusalem, where no one enters that works abomination or speaks a lie, but those whose name is written in the Lamb's book of life. Here my soul now feeds upon the tree of life, which I had so long hungered and thirsted after, that stands in the paradise of God. Here there is no more curse nor night; but the Lord God and the Lamb are my light and life forever and ever! And I witness that I am regenerated and born again of the immortal seed, and having partaken of the first resurrection, over such the second death has no power.
And this I declare to all the inhabitants of England, and to all that dwell upon the earth, that God alone is the teacher of his people. He has given to everyone a measure of grace, which is the light that comes from Christ. It checks and reproves for sin, in the secret of the heart and conscience. All who wait in that light, which comes from Christ, and which is the free grace of God, for the power of Jesus Christ to destroy sin and to guide them in obedience to the light, shall come to know the only true God and Father of light in Christ Jesus, who is the way to him. This I witness to all the sons of men, that I came not to the knowledge of eternal life by the letter of the Scripture, nor by hearing men speak of the name of God. I came to the true knowledge of the Scriptures and the eternal rest which they testify of in Christ, by the inspiration of the spirit of Jesus, the lion of the tribe of Judah, who alone is found worthy to open the seals of the book.
Be faithful everyone in your own measure, and in patience wait for the unlimited spirit of Christ, your life, to open the seals of the book, and make known unto you the mystery of eternal life.
Dewsbury clearly speaks above of:
  1. suffering under the burden of sin,
  2. experiencing great tribulation,
  3. being freed from sin,
  4. Christ being resurrected in him,
  5. being translated into the Kingdom of God,
  6. being in New Jerusalem, and
  7. feeding from the tree of life that stands in the paradise, (kingdom), of God. Thus all the promises of the scriptures he witnessed as having been fulfilled.
From the writings of yet another early Quaker, Francis Howgill: (written in 1676)
By this Light all the righteous, who have waited on God’s appearance, come to see Him. As it is written, “Lo! This is our God, we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” Does he indeed come that you have waited for? Yes, come, “and his reward is with Him;” and they that see Him find contentment in Him, and in his reward. And what is his reward? Joy, gladness, peace of conscience, assurance of God’s love sealed in the heart by the pure Spirit of the Lord, the streams of Life flowing forth continually from the great deep, which refresh and keep cool in the greatest extremity and heat of temptation; and this is enjoyed by those that have waited and do wait for it; even in the body they bear witness of Him and his coming. What was the witness of his disciples? "The Son of God has come and has given us an understanding." Of what? Of God, of his day, of his appearance, of his power, of his wisdom, of his kingdom, of hope, of faith, of assurance, of peace, of joy, of comfort and consolation. What? In this life? Yes, a cloud of witnesses I might bring in former ages, and also in this age, blessed be the Lord; but my witness that gives me assurance, is nearer me than all their witnesses, although they are all true. Abraham, the father of the faithful, and of the righteous, who believed in God and was accepted, saw Christ’s day and was glad; that is, by faith; yes, he and all that ever saw Christ’s day, or the Father, saw Him by faith; by faith they saw Him who is invisible: "Behold! God is my salvation." Isaiah 12:2. What! Do you enjoy it already? Yes, He has become my salvation; and Simeon, who waited for the consolation of Israel, said: "Now let your servant depart in peace, for my eyes have seen your salvation." Luke 2:30. And this he said, who knew comfort and consolation: "As the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation abounds by Christ." They were made partakers of his Divine nature, and sat together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: and they that are in Him, and enjoy Him, who is the power of God, and the wisdom of God, know rest; and peace, and salvation, both from guilt and acts of sin. The apostle, writing to the Hebrews, said that "When the Son of God had purged away our sins," (speaking of the atonement), "He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." Paul looked beyond sin, even to Him who had purged away sin; and this being purged from sin comes to be made manifest unto and in those who believe, by the Spirit of Jesus, who is Christ the Lamb, the arm that brings salvation, who is the author of eternal salvation onto all those who believe. He begins it and perfects it in his day, for He works in the day, as He himself said: "My Father works here in this, and I work." He destroys the work of the devil; this is his work in man, which those who have come to his day feel and see, even the handiwork of God in themselves; and his own works praise Him, for they only can. Those, who have not come to the day, do not know God’s work in themselves; and those, who have not yet heeded that in themselves, which manifests all things reprovable, and which reproves, have not yet come to know the appearance of the glimmering of light or of the day in themselves, which the saints witness in themselves, even all of those that are sanctified.
From George Fox's Letter #172:
So everyone of us, that has come to the seed of God, that bruises the serpent's head, that led man from God, who is the prince of the world, the prince of darkness, and the prince of the air, the father of lies, a murderer from the beginning; the corrupter of mankind, the author of the separation from God, and the original of sin, the beginning of it, which led man from his dominion over the handiworks of God; which the royal seed Christ, destroys, and renews man again in the image of God, and brings him again to his dominion over the handiworks of God. And this hundreds of thousands are now witnessing; by which they come to be kings, and redeemed from the earth and come to be made kings upon the earth, in the image of God, over the handiworks of God, in the wisdom by which they were created ....Among these Christ is king, which thousands witness. Among these he is king.
And the Apostles further testified to living in his Kingdom too:
Paul said: Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Col 1:13 Paul again: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ who lives in me. Gal 2:20. Paul said he received the gospel through the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and God was pleased to reveal his son in me. So Paul (and others) had been delivered from sin, had been translated into the Kingdom of Christ; and Paul further had the Revelation of Jesus Christ within himself, and was living in union with Christ. All the great promises, experienced by Paul while alive, and witnessed for our benefit. John said: I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ. Rev 1:9 (John had been in tribulation, and was in the Kingdom)
For his return is to purified believers, in all generations, who have prepared the way of the Lord, making his beaten paths straight, by repentance through grace, to crucify the sinful nature. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Gal 5:24 The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display, Nor will people say, Look! Here! or, See, there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you and around you. Luke 17:20-21 And it comes to each man in his own rank and order. 1 Cor 15:23

Repentance and the cross yield purity and then to see God! He, who has been hidden within, is revealed; the Revelation of Jesus Christ, within the purified believer. The second death exerts no power or authority over those who have crucified the sinful nature; they shall be ministers of God and of Christ (the Messiah), and they shall rule along with Him a thousand years.

The cross is bearable, but not easy. It is not easy to lose your life. It is not easy to forsake everything. It is not easy to find the narrow gate to heaven, which entry many will try and be unable pass through. It is not easy to suffer. So any alternative to the cross, which supposedly allows one to escape Hell, is eagerly received; and false doctrines and lies have quickly become pervasive. Jesus told us that false prophets would come to deceive. The Apostles saw them coming while they were still alive:
Little children, it is the last time; and as you have heard that antichrist will come, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us; but they went out, so that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1 John 2:18-19. (Antichrists were already appearing 2000 years ago, who were so-called Christians teaching lies.)
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron, 1 Tim 4:1-2
For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. Phil 3:18-19. (Telling people the work of the cross is not necessary; telling them they are free to live as they please, in their lusts and pride.)
For the time will come when men will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap [accumulate in piles] to themselves teachers after their own lusts, who will say what their itching ears want to hear; and they will turn away their ears from the truth, and will be turned to fables. 2 Timothy 4:3-4. (Christendom has heaped millions of preachers and teachers teaching the fable of salvation while still sinning, which is to remain a slave to sin.)
Jesus said false prophets in sheep's clothing would come. The Apostles saw they had come, going out from among them. And shortly after the whole world followed the fables of the false prophets' make-believe Christianity, believing the fable of consequence-free sin through instant salvation by grace, which teachings allow men to live in their lusts as they please — just as predicted by Paul and in Revelation.

The ministers of the deficit sects tell their members that they are righteous, even while they are still sinning, sin being wickedness. He who says to the wicked, 'You are righteous;' him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him. Pro 24:24 All the pastors and ministers shall be cursed, who lied, saying that with belief in Jesus, you are righteous while still locked in sin. In effect, the ministers of today tell their members: don't seek, don't obey, don't fear, don't strive — saying there is no need, because of grace, your supposed license for immorality and excuse for remaining in sin. Yet Paul instructed ministers thus: "Rebuke those who continue in sin before everyone, so that others may fear also." 1 Tim 5:20. Paul also pleaded for repentance: remember that for three years I did not cease warning everyone night and day with tears.

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5. So now ask yourself: have you overcome the world? Because John has just told us who believes that Jesus is the Son of God — it is he who overcomes the world; and to overcome the world is to fight the good fight of faith, to have victory over sin, and to bring forth fruit to perfection — which occurs by your faith through repentance on the inward cross of self-denial.

Do you know Jesus? Whoever sins has not seen him or known him. 1 John 3:6 Is Jesus your friend? You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:14 Do you love Jesus? If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. John 14:22-23 Does Jesus know you? My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow [obey] me. John 10:27

The Jews, incorrectly interpreting the Scriptures, rejected Christ, expecting a physical King to appear. Similarly, one hundred generations of Christendom, incorrectly interpreting the Scriptures, have rejected listening to and obeying Christ within them, expecting an outward appearance; expecting Christ to physically appear to be King of the whole world, thereby missing the possibility of preparing for his inward, individual spiritual appearance in them. This is a major deception with disastrous consequences to those so deceived. Prize your time; use it wisely, for it is finite.

The gospel, promising release from the captivity of sin and entry into the Kingdom by repentance, has been ignored. Instead, life-long sin is preached, which is a devastating deficit in all the sects; a 180° departure from righteousness; not even aiming at, much less approaching John the Baptist's righteousness, of whom the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater. Let no one think themselves unworthy to enter the Kingdom by repentance, for even the prostitutes and tax collectors were entering in Jesus' time, Mat 21:31-32. The Holy Way...the simple ones and fools, shall not err in it and lose their way. Isa 35:8. His grace is sufficient for all men and women to enter, but first, we must all repent.
In the past God overlooked ..ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. Acts 17:30
We must be brought under the control of God by repentance. From the Word of the Lord within, 10/20/06
Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 1 Cor 15:34
Everyone talks about how Jesus is so forgiving; true, but after forgiveness he says, sin no more! To the adulteress: I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and sin no more. John 8:11 To one healed: Behold, you are made whole: sin no more least a worse thing come unto you. John 5:14 The worse thing to come unto you is called Hell. Christendom doesn't have a clue how to be freed from sin, and pretends it is impossible. But Jesus said: Sin no more! And Repent or perish! [to lose you soul]

If you think you have been born again, do you still sin?
He who commits sin is of the devil...Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 1 John 3:8-9
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are revealed [distinguished]: Whoever does not live righteously is not of God, neither is he who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:10 A touch by God, or a spiritual experience, is not to be born again. Such is God's gift of hunger and a call to put on the incorruptible.
Jesus said, If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell. Mark 9:43,45,47-48.
He doesn't want us to maim ourselves. He is only illustrating how serious continuing to sin is. Jesus is desperately trying to tell us that to enter the Kingdom and escape hell, sin has to go. He knew false ministers with false gospels promising freedom to continue to sin would arise after he left. Changes in our heart through the missing cross to purity can take away the desire of the hand, foot, and eye to cause us to sin.

Sinners can't live in heaven, or heaven would be Hell. Only former sinners go to heaven. Until all sin is removed from you heart, until you are purified; you cannot be in the company of God — for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Cor 6:14. No one wants children, who lie, or steal, or envy, or get angry, or constantly want something more, or are drunken, or are violent, or wrongfully use others, or cheat — or are disobedient to one's commands. God expelled the fallen angels from heaven; he expelled Adam from Eden, and so he will ban men who still sin from heaven. Corruption does not inherit incorruption.

Everyone has to be purified first, and it cannot be instantly done on earth or in the next life. We must learn to loathe and hate our selfish motives and desires before they can be removed to purify us; or else we would drift back into the same selfish patterns of sin. Everyone is going to be purified; voluntarily in this life by the cross, or involuntarily in the next life with far greater pain, difficulty, and loss.

The Kingdom's availability to us has been forgotten; and godless men's false doctrines deny the necessity of repentance, which prevent our entry into the Kingdom and leave us captive to sin. For today's deficit sects have a form [shell] of godliness, but are without power, even denying the power of God to change us to a sinless state. The deficit sects have lost the true gospel of Christ and the cross of Christ, both of which are the power of God. So, all of the deficit sects are in the ditch, led by there by blind guides. Christ's blood sacrifice and gospel have been trampled under foot by these deficit sects that have made peace with the enemy; some even denying there is an enemy; but all surrendering their members to sin as inevitable, without fighting the good fight of faith; sin being licensed by false grace. Jesus said, 'I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.' John 8:34. By betraying their members to a life-long slavery to sin, these deficit sects crown sin the master, excluding Christ as Master, for one cannot serve two masters. Within the deficit sects, the man of sin rules. — Come out of her my people, and I will be a father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters.

These 41,000 so-called Christian sects are Babylon painted to look like Zion, deceiving all the nations into her spiritual adultery and fornications. The whole world follows this beast with horns like a lamb, with many names, and power given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. Jesus warned us about false prophets to come in sheep's clothing; the apostles saw that they had come in their time, antichrists and false apostles who went forth from them. Now, just as the Bible predicted, today the whole world worships the dragon (Satan), pretending to be God, who supposedly ignores and excuses sin, falsely promising heaven to those still enslaved to sin. As the Bible predicted, the church adulterated with the kings of the earth, the sainted Roman Emperors Constantine and Justinian the despot, thus eliminating the true gospel by 390 AD. The deficit sects pretend that Christ is their husband; but these false churches are the whore of Babylon, drunk on the blood of the saints. This whore embraces the lusts of the world and substitutes superstitious ritual for obedience to Christ's commands to repent, his teachings, his requirements, his warnings, his required holiness, his gospel, his Kingdom, his promised freedom from sin, and his cross of self-denial — the Missing Cross to Purity. The inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of the false churches' fornications, which is the lying promise of living in lusts and pride with no consequence of the fury of God. This mystery of iniquity is permitted by God to test the elect's commitment to truth; for the elect cannot stand listening to lies.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light, and light for darkness. Isaiah 5:20
They have seduced my people saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace. .. with lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad, .., and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, so that he does not turn from his wicked way, by (falsely) promising him life. Eze 13:2,10,22
To walk after the imagination of your own heart is worse than worshiping idols. Jer 16:11-12
Yet they say to everyone who walks after the imagination of his own heart, "No evil shall come upon you." Jer 23:17
Are You Really a Disciple of Christ?
So likewise, whoever does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:33
And whoever does not bear his own cross, and come after me cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:27
Love one another as I have loved you. By this all men shall know that you are my disciples, if you have love for each other. John 13:35
By your producing much fruit, my Father is honored and glorified, and you show that you are truly my disciples [true followers]. John 15:8
If any man comes to me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters — yes even own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh [the sinful nature] with its passions and desires [lusts and affections]. Gal 5:24
If you abide [continue] in [obedience to] my word [teachings and commands heard], then you are truly my disciples. John 8:31
Jesus died in his love for us, so that he could purify us for himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works, who show the power and love of God to the world; so he could free us from sin, to truly be our ruling Lord and King in word and deed; so we could be changed to be like Him, in this life, by the way of the cross; and so we could participate in the divine nature, in union with Him and God, in His Kingdom of Heaven, while on earth, and then forever.

All of these wonderful promises require repentance to purity, for it is only in likeness that union can occur. Almost everyone in Christendom missed it. But for us, it is not too late — to believe the power of the true good news, and realize the power of the cross, to enter the Kingdom of Heaven in this life through repentance: to realize the good news that Jesus came to preach! Victory over sin and death is available.
Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Matthew 4:17
Rouse yourselves and keep awake, and strengthen and invigorate what remains and is on the point of dying; for I have not found a thing that you have done meeting the requirements of My God or perfect in His sight. Revelation 3:2
Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Tim 2:19
Paul said: "to become wise, one must first acknowledge they are ignorant." Unless you know that you are a slave to sin, you will never get free. So the first step to freedom from sin is to look at your slavery. From the Word of the Lord within: "Those who refuse to look at their slavery say, 'Church me.'"

From the Word of the Lord within: "so they must pass through the earth wise," or else, they must learn about righteousness and sin the hard way in the next life.

And thanks be to God, the record is preserved for us how George Fox and hundreds of thousands of "children of the light" uncovered the true good news, always before us, but hidden by lies, and claimed the power again to enter the Kingdom of God. George Fox reestablished the true gospel, the power of God, that had been lost for 1260 years and was later lost again, even by the Quakers he founded. For those of you who want to see and hear your Savior teach you personally, leading you through repentance and the cross to union with God in the Kingdom of Heaven, the below is presented. For he calls us all to repentance, Christhood, and the Kingdom of Heaven. Let those who can hear, hear! Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Rev 14:7

The hope of repentance and remission [release from the slavery] of sins to the Kingdom, with the missing cross, the Power of God, is:

1) God's peace to you. Jesus Christ, the savior of all men, but especially of those who believe his true message, does not condemn us, but with our sorrow for the past and resolve to do better, rather says peace and extends to us forgiveness for whatever the past. If you seriously wish to please God, whatever the price, he asks you to trust Christ to lead you to purity and then heaven on earth; for the Kingdom of God is within you and does not come with outward signs to be observed, in which is everlasting peace and joy.
I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall no longer teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," said the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Jer 31:33-34
He forgives past sins, gives us a new heart, and destroys the sinful desires in us — if we let him and trust him. For this purpose the Son of God is revealed [in us], that he might destroy the works [in us] of the devil. 1 John 3:8 We are led through repentance to the truth and the Kingdom of Heaven by the teaching, purifying process of the Spirit of grace, which is the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The gospel is the ministration of the Spirit — grace, which separates man from sin. Grace, the unmerited favor of God, is not instant and is not salvation, as widely believed. Regarding instant salvation by grace, from the Word of the Lord within: "it is twisted, pernicious lies, a fatal flaw that turns aside the just."

Grace is a teaching process of repentance from lusts to godly living in purity, bringing salvation and seeing God. Grace is correctly defined by the Apostle Paul in Titus 2:11-14:
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and how to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; as we receive the blessed fulfillment of our hope, even the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity [lawless deeds, sin], and purify for himself a people who are his very own, zealous for good works. Titus 2:11-14
Whoever commits sin practices lawlessness; for sin is lawlessness. 1 John 3:4
One who still sins might mistakenly argue they are redeemed from every lawless deed, but not that grace has purified them! And when the true grace has purified from all iniquity, you see God, because the pure in heart see God. Mat 5:8

From the Word of the Lord within: "Where there is obedience, there is righteousness; without it, you have World War II." Even Adolph Hitler said Jesus was his Lord and Savior. Does anyone believe Hitler, saying Jesus was his Lord, made him his Lord? I pray not. Saying does not make it so. Does anyone believe Hitler was a sinner saved by grace? I pray not. To be saved, is to be purified by grace. Tit 2:14
Let everyone who names the name of Christ [calls himself a Christian] depart from iniquity [lawlessness, sin]. 2 Tim 2:19
Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32
Having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Cor 7:1 (The task is to perfect holiness! But trust Christ to lead you perfectly!)
The way of holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for the redeemed. The wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err in it and go astray. Isa 35:8
That he would grant to us, that being delivered out of the hand of our enemies we might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. Luke 1:74-75. (Perfect love casts out fear. 1 John 4:18) By which exceedingly great and precious promises are given to us, that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4 (The reward for completion of the task.) This is the way, walk in it. Isaiah 30:21 You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy, at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psa 16:11

2) Repentance to purity and union with Christ and God in the Kingdom while on earth by:

You must seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all else will be added. Mat 6:33 Therefore take no thought, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or, 'What shall we drink?' or, 'With what shall we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need these.

You must make this your life's first priority — to obtain the Kingdom and His righteousness within you, and then all your material needs will also be supplied by God. There is no instant righteousness; there is no instant kingdom. For either, you must fervently seek. Further Jesus said: Do not labor for food which perishes, but for the food that endures to everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give to you; for God the Father has authorized and certified him with his seal. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. I am that bread of life. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life-giving. John 6:27,47-48,63. To seek is to listen for his words to be spoken to you from the word in your heart, and then to keep what you hear. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, Mat 4:4. Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face, to be in His presence continually! 1 Chr 16:11 His strength is the power to purify you, so you can see his face — see God. In the Kingdom, you are in his presence continually! The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. Lam 3:25 Those who seek me early and diligently shall find me. Pro 8:17 (The younger you start, the less difficulty.) If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever. 1 Chr 28:9 Seek and you shall find. Mat 7:7. Seek the face of God to appear within you. To seek God, find him, and be united with him is the single and sole purpose of life. He [God] has made from one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the allotted times and the boundaries of their habitation; so that they should seek the Lord, and perhaps might feel after him and find him, though he is not far from every one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being;.. one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. ..Seek the LORD your God, and you will find him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deu 4:29 For at least an hour, on a daily basis, in private, get quiet, and think on the name of Jesus.
A book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and who meditate upon His name. Mal 3:16
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isa 26:3
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous flee into it and are safe. Pro 18:10
But as many as received him, to those who believe in his name, he gave to them power to become the sons of God. John 1:12
Before Christ, to receive the favor of God, you had to closely follow the Law; God disregarded those who ignored his Law. Jesus made it possible for all with regret for whatever our past sins and belief in Him to approach God to receive his purifying power. John says receiving him with belief on the name of Jesus gives us the power to become sons of God, not be sons of God. He who overcomes [the sinful nature, by repentance on the daily inward cross of self-denial] .. shall be My son. Rev 21:7 This is how to use that power to become a son of God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom 8:14

Why Silence? Because he said after praying the Lord's prayer: do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you need, even before you ask him. Mat 6:7-8 Be still, and know that I am God; Psalm 46:10 It is good that a man should both hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lam 3:26 Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Proverbs 8:34.

Listen, Watch. Be quiet to hear the Teacher, the living Word of God, Jesus. To learn from Him, get cleansed by Him, be led by Him, and come to know Him.Faith Comes by Hearing the Word of God — Jesus speaking to you, not someone reading the Bible. If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev. 3:20 He does not talk to you through the Bible. You have to hear his voice, the Spirit. The Bible refers to Bible verses as scriptures. The Bible refers to the Word of the Lord or God as spoken or spirit. You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and they are those that testify of me. But you are not willing to come to me that you may have life. John 5:39-40 The letter kills, the Spirit give life, 2 Cor 3:6. Whoever comes to me, and listens to my words and does [practices, obeys] them, I will show you what he is like. He is like a man who built a house, and dug deep and laid the foundation securely on a rock. Luke 6:47-48 He can't make it any plainer: Come to Me, listen to My words (not the Bible), and do [practice, obey] them. Doing his words, is to obey his spoken orders. If a man loves me, he will keep my words [obey me, practice my teachings]; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:22-23 Their home is a Kingdom that comes without outward signs to be observed, where you live in union with them.

You must listen, hear, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 1 James 1:21 Jesus said, It is written in the Prophets: 'They shall all be taught by God.' Every man therefore who has heard, and has learned from the Father, comes to me. John 6:45
Jesus said: "There is only one thing needed. Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her" — to sit at the feet of Jesus and hear his word. Luke 10:39-42.
The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life-giving. John 6:63
All your holy ones are in your power. And they sit at your feet, each receiving your words. Deu 33:3
Take heed therefore how you hear. For whoever has will be given more. Luke 8:18
If those who hear will obey, their progress will be swift. From the Word of the Lord within, 03/04/08
Christ is the Light that enlightens all men and women in the world. John 1:1-5,9
If you obey His spoken-to-you commands, you show your faith and love for him; and the light (Jesus) will change you and purify you, as you repent, carrying your cross. While you have light, believe in [depend on, trust and obey] the light, that you may become the children of light. John 12:36.
Jesus said: I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life. John 8:12
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he will instruct sinners in the way. He will guide the meek in what is right and he will teach the humble his way. Psalm 25:8-9
I the LORD search the heart, I try the mind. Jer 17:9-10, Rev 2:23
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you shall go; I will guide you with my eye. Psalm 32:8
This is what the Lord, your protector, the Holy One of Israel says: I am the LORD your God, who teaches you how to succeed, who leads you by the way that you should go. Isa 48:17
Grace (Jesus) will teach you how to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and how to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Tit 2:12
The Comforter .. I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong [reprove] of sin, and righteousness, and judgment. John 16:7-11
A man cannot see the depth of sin in his heart until the Spirit shows it to him. The beginning of truth is to learn from the spirit about the sin in yourself, and then to learn what is righteousness. Said the Lord: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because you have rejected knowledge, Hos 4:6.

Unless a man goes to wait silently on the Lord, he will never obtain knowledge of the truth to then become free. However when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself, but he shall only speak what he hears; and he will show you things to come. John 16:13
Then you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free; therefore if the Son makes you free, you are truly free. John 8:31-32,36
But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit and whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, John 14:26.
But you have to listen silently. You cannot pray with words, talk, or read the Bible, and hear. You must be quiet to hear. But the anointing that you have received from him abides in you, and you do not need any man to teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you all things, and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide in him. 1 John 2:27. And eventually — because you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 1 John 2:20
What may be known of God is revealed in them, for God has shown it to them. Rom 1:19 (Note: Paul is saying, whatever is to be learned about God is to be revealed within a man.)
If a man abides in me, and I in him, he produces much fruit...(love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, etc. Gal 5:22-23)
Unless you abide in me, you cannot produce fruit.  If a man does not abide in me, he is cast out like a branch, which withers; these branches are gathered up, cast into the fire, and are burned. By your producing of much fruit, my Father is honored and glorified, and you show that you are truly my disciples. John 15:4-8 To abide in Christ is to wait, listen, watch, and remain in his Light and Living Word, (not the Bible).
Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col 1:27
The words we hear him speak to us are Spirit and impart the life of God to us, John 6:63; which life of God is Christ, John 1:5,14:6, so that Christ is formed within you, Gal 4:19.

Until finally Christ is fully formed and actually resurrected in you. 2 Cor 4:14,Col 2:11-12,3:1, Eph 2:5-6, Rom 6:13 You then see Christ, the glory of God, appear in your heart and witness him bringing your salvation and eternal life.

Obey what you already know and any new commands received Jesus said: he who loves me, obeys my commands — what you hear him tell you to do Conduct your life in obedience to what you already know, in obedience to God; you will not be condemned for what you don't know, but only condemned for what you know and choose not to obey.
Jesus said, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Rev 3:19 (Zealous — Ardent, enthusiastic in pursuit of an object) When rebuked, work hard to repent from whatever he shows you.
If a man loves me, he will keep my words [obey me, practice my teachings]. John 14:22
He [Jesus] became the author and source of eternal salvation to all those who heed and obey Him. Heb 5:9 (And how do you obey Him to attain salvation?)
Listen to and obey My voice, and I will be your God and you will be My people; and walk in the whole way that I command you. Jer 7:23
This was John the Baptist's simple message of beginning repentance: Repent: think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins and changing your conduct. Matt 3:2

Share from your excess with those who are without the necessities of life. Be honest in all your dealings, never exaggerating or overreaching anyone. Don't oppress people or frighten anyone, don't lie, don't want more, don't complain. Luke 3:10-14 Other simple rules to start are: flee from sexual immorality, don't take oaths (i.e. swear to tell the truth), don't look back, prize your time and the love of God above all. Until you are guided by the Spirit of God, with personalized commands, the Law is your schoolmaster.

Practice generous acts of LOVE and kindness energized through faith Defer (yield) to other's wishes unless it is dangerous, immoral, or of major consequence (this is a major giving up your own will to others — denying self — increasing Him)

From your excess, practice generously giving to others — particularly the poor. Luke 12:33, 2 Cor 9:9 Don't accumulate treasure on earth which is not lasting, rather lay up everlasting treasure in heaven. For where your treasure is, there is your heart. Mat 6:19-21 Give, give, and your Father will reward you secretly. Mat 6:4 The only thing that counts is faith, which is energized and demonstrated by works of love. Gal 5:6 Let us consider how to encourage one another to love and good works. Hebrews 10:24 Forgive the unjust offenses committed by others against you. "Mercy triumphs over judgment." James 2:13 Above all things have fervent love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Pet 4:8

Don't witness, teach, or preach until you are directly ordered to! He did not want man to bear witness about him, because he knew what was in their hearts. And many other times, Jesus ordered men not to talk about the miracles he had done; for he did not want the testimony of men with their hearts still full of evil, as we all are, until cleansed by Him. John 2:25 Even Jesus did not judge, speak, or act without the Spirit's specific prompting. Of myself I can do nothing. I judge only as I hear, John 5:30
for I have not spoken of myself, but from the Father who sent me and commanded me what I should say and what I should speak. John 12:49-50
The Son can do nothing of Himself (by his own will), but only does what he sees the Father do. John 5:19
He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent him, that man is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. John 7:18.
Any man who speaks of God or Christ without the Spirit's specifically supplied words is seeking his own glory, and he is estimating himself to be greater than Christ, for Christ said: The disciple is not above his master, but everyone who is perfect [purified, restored to the spiritual image of God, specifically authorized, and perfected] will be like his master. Luke 6:40

The preachers of Christendom stand condemned for seeking their own glory and then accepting pay for their worthless words; when to even charge for true words of life like Balaam, spoken from the spirit of God, is expressly forbidden by Paul, Peter and Jesus. Seeking their own glory, the preachers of Christendom speak from their carnal minds, the nature of death, and preach their vain opinions from the imagination of their evil hearts. Jesus said: Are you a teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? Truly, truly, I say to you: We speak what we know, and testify what we have seen. John 3:11 (Not what you have read about, not what you have heard from others, because certain knowledge of God only comes by revelation from Christ.) Paul asks: Are you confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, who have the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law? Therefore you who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? Rom 2:19-21. You are stealing the words from the saints, quoting the Bible from your carnal mind, with your evil imagination's opinions.

To witness, preach, or teach without the Holy Spirit's specific promptings, is to estimate yourself above Jesus. Until you are purified with the Spirit speaking through you, your witnessing, teaching, and preaching will not reach the holy part of each person; and your spiritual growth will be retarded or stopped. People, who teach without specific authority by God, can't hear God's voice, reach purity, or enter the Kingdom; because they are in spiritual captivity, having led others into spiritual captivity by teaching errors.
If anyone among you considers himself to be religious but does not bridle [restrain] his tongue, he deceives his own heart [thinking himself to be religious], and this man's religion is worthless. My brothers, not many of you should be teachers, knowing that we who teach will be judged by a stricter judgment; For we all err in many things; and if any man does not err in his words, he is a perfect man. James 1:26,3:1-12 (James is saying, until you are perfected, what you teach will have errors; and errors will be strictly judged.)
He who does not gather with me scatters. Luk 11:23, Mat 12:30 (To gather with him, is by his direction). When you witness, teach, or preach for him, not with him, you are scattering the sheep. To gather with him, is to gather with his specific promptings, and words supplied at that moment. If you lead someone to the Lord without his specific instructions, your convert is twice as much a child of hell as yourselves. No man can come to me unless the Father, who has sent me, draws him and gives him the hunger to come to me; John 6:44 (You have no idea who the Father has drawn and is ready to be gathered, unless you are specifically directed by God.) Only be ready to tell someone if they ask about your hope. 1 Pet 3:15 (But only if asked! Then you answer because you have to be truthful.) I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you not stir up, nor awaken love, until it pleases [its time has come]. Song 8:4 (Don't even talk about God or Christ until you hear him authorize you to. Instead give to, and love those, around you.)

From George Fox's Letter 316: (written in 1600's)
Such as talk of Christ, and do not walk in him, such as profess him, and do not possess him, such as live not in the religion that was set up above sixteen hundred years since, such as profess Christ the way, and walk not in the way, the truth, and the life; all such talkers, and not walkers, are dishonorers of God, and cause his holy name to be blasphemed among such as make no profession. Don't do anything for God, until you are told exactly what to do, and told precisely when to do it.
If so ordered, do only that, nothing more, nothing less; and return to your home, to silent waiting on the Lord.
Trust Him to lead you to purity and the Kingdom of God within you. Enjoy the good things of this life with thanks and praise to our great and wonderful God. Be happy! You are showing your love for God by picking up your cross daily. He will increase in you. The same grace that shows you your sins, cleanses you of them, washing them away one at a time, over time. Jesus said, "If I don't wash you, you have no part with me.” John 13:8. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged from the heart. Be patient. It took the disciples over three years, but you will be encouraged and thrilled by Him. Along the way, you will be sifted and tested; passing, you will receive a significant additional measure of His spirit. Soon after, he will return within you in glory for final judgment and lead you to paradise, another dimension, the Kingdom of Heaven within and among you.

This is the power of his name and the power of the cross to change us on this side of the grave and make us like Him; he can be resurrected in us to be our true Lord, and we can enter his glorious Kingdom, paradise. This Christ and gospel destroys sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, greed, hatred, lying, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, envy, drunkenness;..those who do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. You cannot please God continuing to live in the flesh. You must let Christ change you through repentance and replace them with the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness [or meekness, or humility], and self-control. Change occurs through the power of the cross and the saving, changing grace of God, accessed by faith in the name of Jesus Christ. By your producing of much fruit, my Father is honored and glorified, and you show that you are truly my disciples [true followers]. John 15:8 Belief in the true hope and the cross, to realize the promise, releases the power of God to purify you and make you one with Him. The cross of Christ, which is the power of

God, crucifies your sinful nature and selfish will through repentance as follows:
  • seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, as 1st priority, is an act of repentance and a cross to your selfish will
  • turning away from evil, as you understand it, is an act of repentance and a cross to your selfish will
  • you don't want to sit quietly every day to listen and watch, but if you do — it is a cross to your selfish will if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20
  • you don't want to obey his commands that you hear, but if you repent — it is a cross to your selfish will
  • you don't want to forgive injustices done to you, but you repent and forgive — a cross to your angry self
  • you don't want to admit and regret what the Light shows your condition to be, but if you repent — it is a cross to your will (In the Light, is where you get changed, where your peace increases, as you repent. This is where you abide in Him.)
  • you don't want to give to others from your excess, but if you repent from your selfishness and give — it is a cross to your will
  • you don't want to defer (deny self) to others, rather than insist on your way, but if you repent and defer — it is a cross to your will
This is the Inward Cross of Self-Denial.
And whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:27
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh (sinful nature) with its passions and desires (lusts and affections). Gal 5:24
This is the beginning of the cross. There is also suffering with the cross, for when you have been prepared sufficiently by his grace and teachings, you will enter tribulation, to further the death of your sinful nature. Therefore, since Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same mind, because he who has suffered in the flesh is finished with sin. So that you should not live the rest of your time in the flesh in the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 1 Pet 4:1-2. The same sufferings are being experienced by all your brothers in the world. 1 Pet 5:9. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us. Rom 8:18. Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col 1:27
He who does not take his cross, and follow after me, is not worthy of me. Mat 10:38
For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, so that you should follow in his steps. 1 Pet 2:21
Knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with him, that our body of sin might be destroyed, so that we would not serve sin any longer. Rom 6:6
For if we are dead with him, we will also live with him. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. 2 Tim 2:11-12
I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life. John 8:12
Rejoice, you have found the narrow way that leads to Life that few find. Mat 7:13
If you think you are exempt from the cross because you "believe" or have been "baptized,"
Blessed Are the Pure in Heart for They Shall See God. Matthew 5:8
And soon after, you enter the Kingdom of Heaven to experience everlasting joy and peace. That he would grant to us, that being delivered out of the hand of our enemies we might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. Luke 1:74-5
He is the Rewarder of those Who Diligently Seek Him! Heb.11:6
Diligence — continually attending to and striving to achieve a goal; laborious; persevering. He Awaits You!

This good news of hope comes from the Bible, confirmation from one-on-one teachings from Christ, and the validity of attainment testified in the Journal and Letters of George Fox, and others, all on this site. They show us adoration for Christ and God, a spiritual path of how to meet with fellow seekers, how to conduct our lives, and for those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, brief descriptions of the forgotten rewards: (NOW! In this life, not after the grave!)
  • first to become free of all sin; not just forgiven, but the inclination removed,
  • to become one with Christ and the Father,
  • fellowship in heaven with Christ and the Father,1 John 1:3
  • fellowship in the spirit with fellow believers' spirits,
  • being the grateful possessors of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness [or meekness, or humility], and self-control.
  • to live in paradise, the Kingdom of Heaven within you, and still be on the earth too.
From George Fox's Journal:
True religion is the true rule and right way of serving God. And religion is a pure stream of righteousness flowing from the image of God, and is the life and power of God planted in the heart and mind by the law of life. This brings the soul, mind, spirit, and body to be conformable to God, the Father of spirits, and to Christ; so that they come to have fellowship with the Father and the Son, and with all his holy angels and saints. This religion is pure from above, undefiled before God, leads to visit the fatherless, widows, and strangers, and keeps from the spots of the world. This religion is above all the defiled, spotted religions in the world, that keep not from defilements and spots, but leave their believers impure, below, and spotted; whose fatherless, widows, and strangers beg up and down the streets.
and:
Sometimes there would be two hundred of the poor of other people to come and wait until the meeting was done, for all the country knew we met about the poor; and after the meeting, Friends would send to the bakers for bread, and give every one of those poor people a loaf, however many there were of them; for we were taught 'to do good to all, though especially to the household of faith.'
and:
When approached by those wishing to hire him as their preacher, George Fox said: "this showed that they did not really understand us or our principles very well; but when I heard of it, I said, ‘it was time for me to be gone; for if their eye was so much to me, or any of us, they would not come to their own teacher.' [Christ within, the True Light, the anointing that will teach you all things ]. For this thing (hiring ministers), had spoiled many, by hindering them from improving their own talents; whereas our labor is to bring everyone to their own teacher in themselves."
George Fox's writings clearly document the hope of purity and the Kingdom realized through the changing grace of the Light. With increased hope, we can once again seize the promise — Christ can not only forgive our sins, but he is powerful enough to bring us from darkness to a sinless state (in this life on Earth) like Christ, and in Christ, and with Christ, and Christ in us.

When we first read George Fox's words, we were reminded of the Jewish Temple guards who were told by the Pharisees to go and arrest Jesus, teaching there. They returned without arresting him; and when questioned as to why, replied: Never has a man spoken like this man! — No mere man has ever spoken as He speaks. John 7:46. George Fox's writings are from the same Authority, he lived in Christ; and like Paul, Peter, and John, he writes to us while in the Kingdom, in the presence of God, but in English, with no need of a translator and therefore more clearly and reliably stated.

George Fox's Journal is a wonderful autobiography describing his journey to perfect union with Christ, and his incredibly powerful lifetime ministry of accomplishment, with thousands reaching the fullness of Christ and Life in the Kingdom of God; the most powerful ministry in recorded history. His letters are spirit breathed words of beauty, breath-taking words of admonition and praise.

What had been lost was the true hope and true promises of God — as it has been again today; for if it were alive, we would see shining examples of Christians walking in the power and spirit of God. For we know that Christ does not hide a light under a bushel. He certainly did not hide George Fox.

George Fox was the most famous man in England during his time. Even Oliver Cromwell, the revolutionary "Lord Protector," who deposed King Charles I, was awed by George Fox.
  • He addressed hundreds of thousands of persons.
  • The churches would shake when he prayed.
  • The power of God chained down those whom he addressed.
  • He miraculously avoided many, many attempts on his life.
  • He never lost a debate with opposing sects' spokesmen, (a capability promised to his true servants).
  • Most of his virulent persecutors died or were ruined, the heritage of true servants of the Lord.
  • He was reviled and persecuted for preaching the truth. (Just as Jesus predicted would happen to his true followers)
  • He prophesied the Great Fire of London, Cromwell's demise, the Turk's defeat, etc. (establishing him as a true prophet)
  • Many miracles were also performed by him, including raising the dead; (as Christ said his true followers would do)
He accomplished all of this "while living in paradise." If you are new to George Fox, start with his Autobiographical Journal, especially the first part on his Early Life and Translation to the Kingdom.

Fox and the Early Quakers had three testimonies to the validity of their message of purity:
  1. Love for each other — and love for their enemies.
  2. Massive Persecution — 13000 were imprisoned, 200 sent to slavery.
  3. Many Signs and Miracles accompanied their ministry and gospel.
Their gospel promises purity by grace that brings salvation, by showing your sins and then taking them away. They witnessed salvation: seeing God and fellowship with the Father and Christ.

George Fox, the 17th century Englishman was the founder of the original Quakers, (the Quakers today are just another deficit sect), who was clearly controlled by the Spirit of Christ. His ministry covered 45 years. Reading the first parts of his autobiographical Journal, you will get a good understanding of the true church of Christ.

His inspiring translation to paradise is detailed and concludes with being raised by Christ up to the state of Adam and Eve before the fall, still capable of falling to temptation and then raised to the state of Christ, beyond Adam's state and not subject to falling to temptation, protected by God from further possibility of sin.

His later ministry is the most powerful in recorded history. He started and guided a movement that resulted in thousands of men and women reaching full maturity in Christ, living in the Kingdom of God. At his death there were 650,000 Quakers in England, (10% of England's population), and many more throughout the world. Within two hundred years of his death, the last substances of true Christianity had disappeared into the wilderness again.

Fox left us three books of doctrine, full of very solid, Biblical explanations; which are primarily addressed to the world of Christendom, the world's rulers of the people, and the people in general. These serve to correct the many misunderstandings so pervasive in Christendom today.

He also left four hundred ten letters to the church of the living God, which letters are an inspiration, a road map, and a challenge to all who seek the maximum possible relationship with God. They are excellent reading for hope, understanding of the true character of the church of Christ, and how to live a godly life. They are filled with adoration for our wonderful, almighty, powerful God and deep love for his fellow believers in Christ.

Fox was arrested over sixty times to be taken before the courts; he spent six and one half years in deplorable prisons, unjustly persecuted by those who wanted to silence his holy words and put out the light of Christ that exposed their nakedness. He was critical of the religious leaders of his time, just as Jesus was critical of the hypocrites in his day. He, along with thousands of early Quakers, were viciously persecuted by the Calvinist Puritans [Congregationalists], Presbyterians, Baptists, and Episcopalians.

Samuel Taylor Coleridge, the great poet and philosopher, who along with William Wordsworth was one of the founders of the Romantic Movement in England, wrote of Fox the following:
"One assertion I will venture to make, as suggested by my own experience, that there exists folios on the human understanding and the nature of man, which would have a far more just claim to their high rank and celebrity, if in the whole huge volume there could be found as much fullness of heart and intellect as bursts forth in many a simple page of George Fox." (from his Biographia Literaria).
His dear Friend, William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, described George Fox as follows:
He was civil beyond all forms of breeding; he was in his praying the most awful, living, reverent frame I ever felt or beheld; that man of God, and prince in Israel, the first born and begotten of our day and age of truth, and the first and the great early instrument of God among us.
Penn summarized the life of Fox with this epitaph, testifying to his prominence in Christ:
"Many sons have done virtuously in this day, but dear George, thou excellest them all."
William Penn's biography with several of his famous books are also on this site, including his wonderfully inspiring Introduction to George Fox's Journal; with an excellent description of the true church of Christ; and his personal witness of Fox's incredible possession of Christ in words, power, strength, and humility. Penn inspires us with a melodious and enlivening account of the glorious outbreak of the true church, its simplicity and innocence; being established through God's chosen instrument, George Fox.

OTHER EARLY QUAKER NOTABLES

There are several more eminent early Quaker's writings also on this site. In the fifty years after the start of George Fox's ministry, 528 Quakers wrote 2800 books and pamphlets. They all testified to the gospel of purity through the cross of Christ, which resulted in union with God through Christ, and entering their Kingdom, while still on earth.

Biographies, memoirs, and letter collections are included for several giants in Christ, including Margaret Fell, William Penn, Isaac Penington, Francis Howgill, Edward Burrough, William Dewsbury, George Whitehead, Stephen Crisp, Ambrose Rigge, John Burnyeat, John Gratton, Will Caton, and James Parnell. Their lives and letters are all inspirational and a clear testimony to the validity of the true gospel of Christ, showing the way to be free of sin and to experience true deliverance to holiness and purity, by union with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Each person has the same message, but with individual wisdom and counsel to bring to all pilgrims, seeking the face of their Beloved, to the true path to union with Him in the promise land, the Kingdom of Heaven. As you read their writings, you realize you are reading words given from the Holy Spirit of God — the same as Peter's, Paul's, and John's writings. The early Quaker writings were all in English, avoiding any vagaries introduced by translations — actually making the Bible more understandable and acceptable. Truly they were magnificent in their measure of Christ, as their writings show the love they had for each other, for God, and the grievous persecutions they all endured. In a prophecy from the Lord declared by Mary Howgill, the Lord said: "they shall leave a more clear and heavenly declaration upon record, than my servants heretofore have done, and it shall stand to ages, and in generations to come, that they may see how God manifested himself unto his people in a day of great suffering."

Edward Burrough wrote of the Lord's purpose for the Quakers in England: He will have his name, exalted and reverenced in this island, [England] and his terror shall be sent out of it through the world, and his branch from it shall spread over the earth. (Yet to be fulfilled.)

Quakers were named "Quakers" because they "trembled" when the Lord spoke to them. They trembled at the Word of the Lord.
But this is the man I will look on [favorably]: he who is of a humble and contrite spirit, and trembles at my word. Isa 66:2
Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at his word. Isa 66:5
Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before him, all the earth. Psalm 96:9
We are unaffiliated with any of the deficit sects, Quakers included, or religions, (come out of her my people), because we have not found any group that shares our faith and hope for the Kingdom with the necessity of purity by the cross to enter.
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he will instruct sinners in the way. He will guide the meek in what is right and he will teach the humble his way. Psalm 25:8-9
